Clients from Hampshire approached the Pear Stairs searching for a staircase to meet their property which holds a classic yet modern design. After some discussions with our design team, they moved forward with this impressive centrepiece.

The choice of winder oak steps added warmth and timeless appeal to the staircase. The natural oak grain and finish were carefully selected to complement the existing interior decor. The winder design incorporated gradual curves, adding an elegant touch to the overall structure.

Seeking to create a contemporary appeal and a striking contrast against the oak, our black metal spindles in the style 'Boston' were chosen. These spindles feature a sleek, minimalistic design that contributes to the modern aspect of the staircase. Their matte finish added depth to the overall design. 

One of the standout features of this staircase was the inclusion of oversized feature steps at key points. These steps were meticulously designed to serve as focal points, both aesthetically and functionally. They provided visual interest and acted as transition points between levels.
